Free YouTube title score
Paste a title and get a score out of 100, with every reason that moved it up or down. Edit a word and score it again to see exactly what your change did.
How it works
- Titles of 30 to 60 characters score best: they show in full on most screens.
- A number (a time, a count, a result) sets a clear expectation.
- A curiosity or emotion word gives people a reason to click.
- If you add a keyword, it scores higher when it sits near the start.
- All capitals, or more than two ! or ?, lose points.
- The rules are fixed and shown in full, so the same title always gets the same score.
Questions
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No sign-up, no card, and no limit beyond a fair-use cap per network so the tool stays fast for everyone.
- Does a high score guarantee views?
- No. It checks the things that make a title easy to read and click. The topic, the thumbnail and the video itself matter more. Treat it as a checklist, not a prediction.
- Why is this score the same every time?
- It is a fixed set of rules, not an AI guess. That way you can change one word and see exactly what the change did.
- Do you store my title?
- No. The title is scored and then thrown away; we only count that the tool was used.
