Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
Frankreel is run by Jarvis Williams, Naval Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra, Ghana (“we”). This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and how to delete it. Questions: support@frankreel.com.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID and name.
- YouTube data, through YouTube API Services: your channel’s public details and statistics, your videos’ titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and view counts. With your permission, we also update a video’s title, description, tags or thumbnail when you press Publish.
- What you create here: drafts, saved keywords and ideas, tracked competitors, coach conversations and uploaded thumbnails.
- Billing: your plan and payment status. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Usage: counts of the AI actions you use (to apply plan limits) and basic error logs.
YouTube API Services
Frankreel uses YouTube API Services. By using Frankreel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s Privacy Policy applies to data Google handles. You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings; disconnecting your channel in Settings does the same.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use it only to provide the features you see in Frankreel. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Why we use it
- To run the product: show your stats, generate ideas and suggestions, and publish the changes you approve.
- To bill you correctly, and to send you account and billing emails, such as the reminder before every renewal.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don’t send marketing email unless you opt in, and every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel: hosting, and cookie-free page-view statistics (no personal profile is built).
- Google (YouTube API Services): your YouTube data.
- Anthropic: the AI model that writes suggestions. It receives the text needed for each request, and under its commercial terms the data is not used to train its models.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: billing and account email.
How long we keep it
- Your account data is kept until you delete your account.
- YouTube data about channels you don’t own (for example, competitors you track) is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube’s policies require.
- Billing records are kept as long as the law requires.
Deleting your data
Go to Settings, then Delete account. This deletes your data and revokes our Google access straight away. Backups roll over within 30 days. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted or corrected.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to some uses. Email us and we’ll answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Frankreel is not for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age for a YouTube account in their country.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email you before the change takes effect and note it on the changelog.
